Module 1: Introduction to Full-Arch Therapy

Program Description:

Patients with debilitated or missing dentition often seek treatment to quickly regain their confidence and quality of life. Immediate full-arch restoration can be an excellent solution for meeting patient demands and expectations. This program is an introduction to full arch therapy. It will include a review of current demographic data regarding patients that may be candidates for full arch therapy and a review of the literature that supports immediate loading of dental implants in full arch rehabilitation.

Module 2: Diagnosis for Full-Arch Therapy

Program Description:

This program is designed to review the important steps regarding data collection for full arch implant therapy. Aspects of the evaluation include radiographic and physical examinations, esthetic analysis, and functional considerations. Patient preferences include patient desires, finances and clinical parameters. Upon establishing a diagnosis, the clinician can develop and communicate a definitive treatment plan to the patient in an organized and well-developed fashion.

Module 3: Treatment Planning for Full-Arch Therapy

Program Description:

This presentation is for the restorative dental team to develop a deeper understanding of treatment planning considerations for full arch implant therapy. At the consultation appointment, treatment options are presented to the patient that address patient preferences. The importance of clear communication between the restorative team, the surgical team, the dental laboratory, and the patient will be reviewed in an effort to optimize treatment outcomes.

Module 4 (Option 1): Fabrication of Full-Arch Fixed Provisional and Definitive (Prosthesis (RevitaliZe® Protocols)

Program Description:

This presentation is for the restorative dental team to develop a deeper understanding of treatment planning considerations for full arch implant therapy. At the consultation appointment, treatment options are presented to the patient that address patient preferences. The importance of clear communication between the restorative team, the surgical team, the dental laboratory, and the patient will be reviewed in an effort to optimize treatment outcomes.

Module 4 (Option 2): Fabrication of Full-Arch Fixed Provisional and Definitive (Prosthesis DIEM®2 Protocols)

Program Description:

This program will present a step-by-step approach to the fabrication of full-arch fixed provisional and definitive prostheses for edentulous patients or patients with debilitated dentitions. Diagnosis and treatment planning principles will be reviewed, along with indications and contraindications for treatment. One specific prosthodontic protocol for immediate occlusal loading with full arch prostheses will be illustrated, as well as, one specific protocol for fabrication of definitive full arch prostheses.

Session 5: 2 Day Hands-On Restorative Workshop at a Zimmer Biomet Institute

Program Description:

This program combines didactic and hands-on training to show participants a step-by-step, practical approach to deliver provisional prostheses on the day of implant placement; definitive prostheses can be fabricated and delivered in an appropriate timeframe. The hands-on exercise of this course will take place in a state-of-the-art Simulated Patient Training Laboratory. This provides clinicians with laboratory experiences needed to perform these types of procedures including the steps needed to fabricate immediate, functional, full-arch provisional restorations; definitive prosthesis design and fabrication will also be discussed.

TRAVEL AND LODGING DETAILS:

Zimmer Biomet Dental will cover the following expenses:

  • Room, tax & hotel fee for three (3) nights lodging. Zimmer Biomet Dental will make lodging reservations once registration is confirmed and flight reservations have been made. Additional nights may be requested and are subject to availability. Lodging expense for additional nights will be at the attendee's expense. A credit card will be required upon check-in to cover incidentals and any additional nights.
  • One round trip coach airfare ticket up to $400 from the clinician’s home city to the closest airport to the event location will be provided by Zimmer Biomet Dental. Any additional costs associated with the flight total will be up to the registrant. Air travel must be booked through the Zimmer Biomet travel agent. Once registration is confirmed detailed instructions will be sent.
